Have you ever committed to something and then instantly regretted it? We've all been there and know that committing to something can be hard because we want to do well and finish what we start. In Nehemiah 10 we unpacked the theme of commitment. The people of Jerusalem committed to God by following decrees, giving, and keeping up the temple. Pastor Geoff encouraged us all to commit fully to God by committing to boundaries that keep us following God well, committing to giving generously and sacrificially, and committing to building up the church that God has called us to be. Our commitment to God won't always go perfectly, but remember with God, commitment isn't about flawlessness, it's about faithfulness.
