Pastor Geoff continued our series today by talking about oaths.  While oaths seem like really good things, Jesus actually taught to not swear any oaths at all.  Jesus told his followers to simply say "yes" or "no" without swearing by anything.  Pastor Geoff explained that Jesus wants honesty to be the norm and that by swearing oaths we give actually give ourselves a chance to not be honest.  Instead of swearing an oath Pastor Geoff encouraged to us to remember that a "yes" or "no" will do, but we have to follow through.
