As Jesus and His disciples are traveling He stops and asks them who people say He is. After they respond, Jesus asks the more important question of who do the disciples say He is. The disciples are the people that have been following Jesus, learning from Him, and seeing everything He is doing firsthand. The response Peter has shows the first bit of understanding of who Jesus is. Peter responds to Jesus by saying "You are the Messiah." While there are a number of ways to describe Jesus, Pastor Geoff showed how Jesus is the Way Maker, Miracle Worker, Promise Keeper, and Light in the Darkness. He encouraged us to understand who Jesus is, based on what Jesus shows us.
