In the opening of Mark 13 the disciples marvel at how impressive the temple is. Jesus responds, not with the same amazement, but with saying none of the stones will be left on another and they will all be overturned. This will be a difficult time for the disciples as Jesus tells them they will be arrested and questioned. In these times the disciples are to stand firm and preach the Gospel. Later in this same chapter Jesus explains that there will also be a time, when things get so bad, that all the people need to flee the area for their own protection.

Pastor Geoff took this section and encouraged us to always be seeking God to understand when we are to stand firm and stay, and when we do really need to leave.
