Walk in Obedience
We opened our new series on the life of Abraham. Abraham is known, throughout the Bible, for his incredible level of faith. In this first section we hear how God called Abram, from the comfort of the life he had, and into the discomfort of the unknown. Abram didn't question or complain, he just obeyed God and went as God called and led. In calling Abram, God also gave Abram a promise. God promised Abram that he would be blessed, his name would become great, and he would bless those around him.
Pastor Geoff encouraged us to look at four areas of walking in obedience in our own lives. He said be willing to go from the comfort to the discomfort, be a vehicle of blessing, leave a mark for God, and remember God fulfills His promises.
