With just two weeks left in our series on the life of Abraham we heard the story of Abraham and Sarah's son, Isaac, being born. This was the child that God had promised to Abraham when God made the promise that Abraham would be the father of many nations. The birth of Isaac brought great joy to Abraham and Sarah.

While joy is something we talk a lot about during the Christmas season, Pastor Geoff said it's something we should talk about all the time. Walking in the joy of the Lord is a choice that we get to make as followers of Jesus everyday. Even in the midst of all of our emotions and circumstances we can choose to walk in the joy of the eternal salvation we are promised as children of God. Pastor Geoff shared that we can walk in joy by walking in obedience, walking in God's grace, walking in God's perfect timing, and walking in laughter. Even when you don't feel like jumping for you, you can choose to walk in the joy of the Lord.
