We opened chapter four of Mark by hearing the Parable of the Sower. In this parable Jesus talks about a farmer who scatters his seed. The seed falls on four different types of soils and that effects what happens to the seed. Many times the focus of this parable is on the soil and making sure we're the right kind of soil. Today Pastor Geoff encouraged us to look at the sower more than the soil. The sower is God, and He spreads His word throughout the world. This gives the view of how wide and how vast God's Kingdom is going to be spread. Pastor Geoff also asked us to focus on being the seed of God, and realizing that God has put us in a place where we can help His Kingdom grow.
