In the very first week of our series we heard about two dreams that were given to Joseph. Both of those dreams showed Joseph having some type of power and authority. Up to this point, Joseph has not seen those dreams come to fulfillment. He's had to wait, and wait, and wait. In today's passage we hear about God opening the door for Joseph and giving him a chance to interpret Pharaoh's dreams. This will lead to Joseph receiving a promotion and being put in a position of authority. We often have to wait for God to open doors for us. Be patient in that waiting, and see that patience as preparation and growth for what is to come. Then, once God opens that door, walk through it in wisdom and with urgency.
