On the way to the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus tells His disciples that they will all fall away. While they all say they'll never do such a thing, Jesus knows it will indeed happen. Once they arrive in the garden Jesus goes and prays. Even though Jesus knows how painful His arrest and crucifixion will be, He submits to the will of the Father. When Jesus returns to His disciples, He finds them asleep. Jesus cautions the disciples to always be in prayer, because their spirit might be willing, but their flesh is weak.

Pastor Geoff took this whole passage and talked about the importance of us depending on God. Depending on God looks like letting Jesus be Jesus, submitting to the will of God, and being in constant prayer to come against temptation and struggle.
