Since we met at Pastor Geoff's house today we took a short break from our series on Mark to talk about the early church which also often met in the homes of the people. The early church came to know Jesus after Pentecost and the coming of the Holy Spirit. The people of the early church were known to be devoted to the teaching of the Word, to true fellowship, to prayer, and to caring for one another. As they did all of these things the Lord added to their numbers. Pastor Geoff encouraged us to look back at that early church, and what they were devoted to, as we move forward together as a church community.
