Today, Pastor Geoff touched on some well known biblical phrases in "eye for an eye" and "turn the other cheek" in Matthew 5:38-42.    He talked about what these phrases really mean and how we can live out turning the other cheek.  Pastor Geoff described this whole passage as Jesus' way of teaching His values and His ways of responding to different situations.  These may not be the first response that comes to our minds, but Jesus calls us to live out these alternative responses.
