At the conclusion of Mark 7 a man that was deaf and could barely speak was brought to Jesus. Due to this man's condition he would have been cut off from, and ignored by, most of his community and was in desperate need of healing. Jesus took the man aside and restored his hearing, his ability to speak, and in turn, restored him to his community. Pastor Geoff asked us to look for the areas in our lives where we need restoration and to bring those to Jesus. Jesus wants to restore us to the way He created us and wants to be. Pastor Geoff encouraged us to remember that God doesn't ignore, God restores.
