We might try and find our identity in a variety of places. Some of us may look for it in our jobs, in our finances, in our appearance, in our lifestyle, or in where we live. As followers of Jesus, though, our identity comes from God. We can't do anything to earn it or achieve it, but we receive it when we accept what Jesus did on the cross for us. As we dive into what it means to have our identity in Christ we learn that we are children of God, we are the light of the world, and we are made complete in Christ. Remember, our identity isn't achieved by what we do for God, it's received by accepting what God did for us.
