On Good Friday we heard the story of Jesus' execution. While hanging on the cross Jesus asked The Father to forgive the people that falsely accused Him and carried out His execution. One of the two criminals hanging on a cross next to Jesus also asked for, and received, the forgiveness of Jesus. Pastor Geoff encouraged us to see forgiveness as two sides of the same coin. We need to accept the forgiveness we have been given by God, and also offer forgiveness to those that have sinned against us.
