As we continued in Mark 5 today, we heard the story of the woman who had bleeding for 12 years. This woman had tried every doctor and treatment that was available to her but her condition only got worse. She knew about Jesus and believed if she could just get close enough to touch Him she would be healed. Pastor Geoff encouraged us to get that close to Jesus. To be close enough to Jesus that we open ourselves up to Him in vulnerability and allow Him to see all of ourselves. Pastor Geoff also said that Jesus wants to see our faith, that we and our faith matter to Jesus, and that because of our faith we are family with Jesus. Get close to Jesus.
