Have you ever misplaced something? Most of us have, and it can be really frustrating if we can't find what we're looking for. In our sermon today Pastor Geoff reminded us to not misplace our confidence by putting it in ourselves, but rather placing our confidence in God. We learned about confidence in Nehemiah 6 when Nehemiah had to remain in confident in God in the midst of attacks, in the midst of temptation, and in knowing He need to continue following God even as he completed the rebuild of the wall. Pastor Geoff encouraged us to remember that our confidence isn't self confidence, it's God confidence.
