Word on the Street 5k

At Hometown we want to be sure to participate in what is going on in our community. One of the most fun events coming up is the “Word on the Street” 5k Run/Walk. So many runners, walkers and families from Verona will gather at the Library to enjoy the day together.

Hometown is one of the sponsors of the race and will have a table where you can find our church leaders gathered to meet and greet the participants. We would love to have you join us around the track to cheer on the participants, stop by the table to hang out with us or run/walk in the race yourself!

Volunteers from HCC will be there at 7:00am.

The race starts at 8:00am on that Saturday morning, outside the Verona Public Library (on Silent Street). The cost for participants is $30 and t-shirt is guaranteed if registered before April 4. 

The Kids’ Race starts at 9:15am and will include a 1/3 mile course behind the library. Each kid registered  at $15 before April 4 gets a t-shirt guaranteed.
