Beach Day 2026

One of our favorite summer traditions is our HCC BEACH DAY! We spend time swimming, eating, chatting, playing in the sand and just hanging out in the summer sun. We hope you’ll bring your whole family and friends to join us!

This year our regular beach (Governor Nelson State Park) is under construction, so we’re going LOCAL and headed to the Fireman’s Park Beach in Verona! It’s actually right down the same street as our home at the Senior Center (Paoli St), and it’s a wonderful spot for kids of all ages. There is a splash pad, playground, water slide, and easy parking, so we know we’ll have a great time.

~We’ll have a spot to gather, find us on the grassy area by the water
~Entry cost per person is $6.
~HCC will have water and fruit, but please bring some snacks to share!
~Remember to bring whatever else you may need to enjoy a day at the beach.
