We heard the story of Jesus making His way to the cross. Before being made to carry the cross He would die upon, Jesus was mocked, spat on, and beaten. The Roman soldiers did this to Jesus because they saw Him as a "fake" King. No real King would ever be like Jesus in their eyes. The thing is, Jesus was and is, a very real King. He's the King we need to follow because it will determine how we live our lives. Pastor Geoff encouraged us to accept Jesus for the King He truly is, to shoulder our cross and follow Him daily, and see the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross for us.
