Jesus was asked a genuine question, by a teacher of the law, about which commandment is the greatest and most important. He gives a very simple response when He says that the greatest commandment is to the love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. Then Jesus tacks on that the second greatest is just like the first, and that you should love your neighbor as yourself.

Pastor Geoff shared that we start by loving God with our whole inner beings. From that love of God, on the inside, God's love naturally pours out of us as we love our neighbors. We were reminded that our neighbors aren't just those we want to be close to or live nextdoor to. Our neighbors are anyone in need. This week remember to love God from the inside and let His love show on the outside of you.
