In this section of Mark we have the famous story of Jesus feeding the five thousand. Jesus took five loaves of bread and two fish and fed an incredible amount of people. This miracle is often the focal point of the story but it all comes within the context of Jesus realizing the people that showed up that day were like sheep without a shepherd. Pastor Geoff showed us how Jesus provides for our needs, provides guidance, and provides rest. Jesus does all of this because He is our good and true Shepherd, and we are His sheep.
